The work of (de)cypher+ has been supported by the Brown Arts Institute, the Black Music Lab @ Brown, Rites and Reason Theatre, the Ruth Simmons Center for Slavery and Justice, the Graduate School, and the Department of Africana Studies at Brown University. Associates of (de)cypher+ have also been invited to speak on various topics including black studies, culture, and politics at Yale University, The New School, the University at Buffalo, York University, the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, and the Telluride Association Summer Program.
